Temot International shareholders’ meeting

It was not only the first Temot International shareholders’ meeting 2007, it was also the first time that the management of the new Temot International shareholder I.DI.A. Group (Italy), Mr. Gianluca Tassi and Mr. Vittorio Amura participated. The group representing 10 top-level distributors in Italy is a major player on the market and also has its own workshop concept, PointService with more than 2,600 garages across Italy.

Another member who joined the TI shareholders’ meeting for the first time was Alain Landec, President of the company LGIR (formerly STARECXEL) that joined Temot France S.A.S. recently. LGIR with an external annual turnover of 400 million euros brings in valuable experience, the renowned workshop concept PRECISIUM with about 820 garages and a wide spectrum of activities.

It was also a great honour that Eli Futerman, member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc. – Temot International’s strategic alliance partner in the USA – participated in the TI Event.

The agenda of the meeting focused on growth, expansion of the group, the group’s strategies and a report from the Products and Suppliers Council – one of the most important advisory bodies within Temot International.

Mr. Jens Kullmann, the new Senior Technical Manager at Temot International used the opportunity to give a presentation on his tasks, relevant results and an outlook on the further approach in the co-operation with important international associations as e.g. the FIGIEFA.

The achievements of the TI shareholders have been honoured separately. Moto-Profil, the TI shareholder in Poland was awarded for the “Best Growth Rate 2006”. The company, founded as a retail shop for automotive spare parts in 1991 has gone through a continuous and extraordinary growth since its foundation. Today, Moto-Profil, headquartered in Katowice, has a warehouse capacity of 9,000 m2 and cooperates with 650 trade partners. Meanwhile, the number of staff has risen to more than 200 people.

Doyen Auto S.A. from Brussels, Belgium, was awarded for the “Best Compliance 2006” and it was indeed the second year in a row that Doyen received this award. Didier Bormans, who gladly accepted the award emphasized that an adjusted product management in compliance with the TI suppliers’ products is beneficial for all parties involved in that partnership – Doyen Auto, the TI suppliers and Temot International as a group.
