IV International Technical Knowledge and Training Fair in Poland

As every year, Moto-Profil - together with their partners - organized the biggest event for the independent aftermarket in Poland. The "in-house" fairs concept proved to be the idea number one in this field.

The main focus of the TARGI was put on workshop tools and equipment accompanied by more than one hundred training sessions for mechanics. One time a year, in one place only, the only one distributor gives to each garage the possibility to see and touch what really means "modern technology" and to learn what the threats and opportunities for the independent garage are.

The fourth edition of the Fair was record-breaking in every respect. Firstly, the number of visitors has exceeded even the most courageous expectations. The Fair was visited by more than 12,000 mechanics as well as people of the automotive trade! The evening festival and the outstanding concert of the Gipsy Kings was attended by approx. 8,000guests! Secondly, the participants were able to visit more than 100 exhibition stands. They could profit from more than 120 professional training courses and the "living-workshops" presentations.

Moreover, the "living-workshop" stands attracted a great interest among mechanics, where they could observe professional car diagnosis or fault clearing demonstrated by experts. Furthermore, leading spare parts manufacturers organized several dozens of presentations about the latest technical solutions - prepared by their own research centers.

Simultaneously to the numerous fair attractions, the Grand Finale of the “I Team Championships of Car Mechanics” took place at the adjacent area of the "Spodek" Centre. For more than four hours, ten teams - winners of the local qualifying rounds, were competing in order to appoint the best team of car mechanics in Poland. The contest resulted in a truly exceptional atmosphere. The next attraction was the “Miss Moto 2007” contest. The audience had the exceptional opportunity to select the winner from dozens of beautiful girls and vote for their favorites.

The initial opinions expressed by exhibitors and visitors confirm that the IV International Technical Knowledge and Training Fair in Katowice was this year's biggest and most professionally prepared event of the automotive trade in Poland.
