Temot International Shareholders' Meeting in Madrid

The second TI shareholders’ meeting 2007 was held in Madrid (Spain) on 09 October 2007.

Fotios Katsardis, Managing Director of Temot International Autoparts GmbH, handled the recurring topics on the agenda and gave an update on various subjects. Special items treated were e. g. the latest developments of AUTOFIT in Europe, synergies from the workshop systems associated through the TI shareholders and the current FIGIEFA activities (such as the Right to Repair Campaign). One of the essential parts of his presentation was the strategic direction of Temot International for the coming years.

Separate reports were given by the Supervisory Board members, the TI Treasurer (Mr. Uri Winkler from Autoworks Ltd., Israel) and the Products and Suppliers Council.

In the framework of the meeting, Stefan de Prycker (Van Heck Group / Sator Holding) was welcomed as new member of the Products and Suppliers Council – taking the place of Marc Welling (Van Heck Group / Sator Holding) who took over other assignments after being a long-term member of the PSC.

It was also a great honour that Richard H. Morgan, President & CEO of Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc. – Temot International’s strategic alliance partner in the USA – participated in the TI Event. Mr. Morgan took the opportunity to inform the Temot International shareholders about the current developments on the American aftermarket and the strategic projects, marketing activities and councils of AAPA.

On 10 October 2007, the majority of TI shareholders visited the Spanish Shareholder “Comercial Impormovil S.A.”. Extensive information was given on the Spanish aftermarket, Impormovil’s changed distribution strategy (VDP) and the development of Autofit in Spain. Impormovil as specialists in the product groups body parts and car glass was able to give an in-depth insight in this business sector. Special handling of these fragile products could be seen live during a guided warehouse tour.
