PV Automotive’s latest buy-out (Röhl GmbH, Rhine/Ruhr area)

The President of the GVA (German Automotive Association) and Vice President of the FIGIEFA, Mr. Hartmut Röhl, sold his company (Röhl GmbH) to PV Automotive. This deal will become effective as of 01 January 2008.

The special point is that formerly, the Röhl GmbH, a traditional parts dealer, belonged to the Carat Group -a group of about 150 parts dealers in Germany and a member of AD - and used to be a competitor to PV Automotive.

Hartmut Röhl who is going to take the role of a consultant to PV Automotive will also keep his roles at the GVA and the FIGIEFA. The Röhl GmbH is going to be converted into a PV Service Centre for the Rhine / Ruhr area whereas all employees will continue to work in Mönchengladbach. Stephan Rahmede from PV Automotive is convinced that this is an ideal supplementary location within the new PV Automotive strategy.
