Temot International expands further - New shareholder in Portugal

Effective as of 01st January 2009, Temot International Autoparts GmbH extends its group of shareholders further. The new entrant is the company CS Peças Auto in Portugal.

CS - Acessórios Sobressalentes e Veículos, SA (CS-Peças Auto), was founded 70 years ago in Portugal, with main activities in the automobile industry. In 1986, the company redefined its core business and concentrated on the import and delivery of automotive spare parts and services.
Leading the spare parts business in Portugal, CS-Peças Auto has been recognized by its high managing standards in marketing and commercial strategies with the PME prize of excellence. This prize is only attributed to the most prestigious companies.

CS-Peças Auto with a strong presence on the Portuguese aftermarket, possesses a total storage area of about 10,000 m², distributes from ten outlets all over the national territory including Madeira and the Açores. The turnover of about 21 million euros in 2007 was achieved with a customer base of more than 2,000 customers.

With this expansion, Temot International Autoparts GmbH has achieved a further major step in implementing the group’s mid-term strategy. All shareholders are looking forward to a fruitful co-operation and to making best use of shared business practices and synergies.
