Trost-Schau 2009 – Record attendance surrounded by Rock ‘n’ Roll and Route 66
For two days, AC/DC, Queen, Aerosmith and others had the say. Under the motto “Rock the Road”, the twelvth Trost-Schau took place in hall one of the Stuttgart fairground on 28th and 29th March 2009.
With 26,351 visitors, the industry’s unique event with a mixture of product and technical information on the one hand and entertainment and fun for the entire family on the other hand had a record attendance. The visitors made good use of the opportunities to get informed about the latest trends in technology and to get their garages fit for spring.
The garage owners and staff got answers to all their specific questions – let it be materials management or the technical catalogue repdoc. They got informed about the quality initiative in the framework of the Trost garage and brand concepts. Personal consulting was offered and widely used especially regarding investment in garage equipment. The repmaster e-learning stations were in the focus of the visitors’ attention. Trost partners could get a first glimpse and a practical overview on the contents and topics of the new online training program.
“We are happy that – despite of the tight economic situation – we were successful in inviting the entire industry to Stuttgart. In this way, we could set the course for a successful business year 2009 together with our customers and partners” was the positive summary of the Board of TROST AUTO SERVICE TECHNIK SE (newly established company after the merger dating back to 01 April 2009).
Satisfaction was not only tangible on the side of Trost and the customers, but also on the side of the industry partners. A total of 242 exhibitors presented their product highlights in garage equipment, passenger car parts and commercial vehicles parts, tools, engine parts and services. By the way, the exhibition area was about 26,000 square metres.
