MOTOO: Garage Concept establishes service for classic cars

MOTOO reacts to the strong growth in the market of classic cars and establishes a new concept module: MOTOO Classic!

It certainly strikes you as soon as the weather becomes better - more and more classic and modern classic cars are cruising around. According to the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (Federal Motor Transport Authority), about 210,000 cars in Germany are registered in the category \"classic car\". This is an increase of almost 28% compared to the previous year! What still adds to that number are the many cars that have just a seasonal registration during the year.
This is an interesting market for a garage concept like MOTOO. The owners of those \"treasures\" attach specific importance to a professional maintenance and repair of their cars. Eventually, most of the classic cars are rather hobbies than commodity items. Today already, about one third of all MOTOO garages regularly work on classic and modern classic cars.

\"In the framework of the new concept module \"MOTOO Classic\", we will provide special information and trainings and support our partners in marketing activities\" says Mitja Bartsch, the MOTOO Concept Manager. The new website www.motoo-classic.de has been launched recently. This site addresses the owners of the automobile rarities. An embossed tin-plate sign is available as signage for the MOTOO garages in question. \"There will be no additional fees for our garage partners and of course the MOTOO garages are free to join\", says Bartsch.

In order to kick off the new concept module, the team of the headquarters in Cologne organised the \"MOTOO Classic Tour 2010\" and twenty-three classic cars joined. MOTOO partners and MOTOO cooperation partners were invited. There was a colourful mixture of different cars, let it be Trabants or Ferraris. The teams started in Cologne and drove to Altastenberg - via eight different MOTOO garage locations and the HESS Branch Office in Kreuztal. \"This was a wonderful tour that we will certainly do again\", says Bartsch.
